Stating the obvious

Don't you just hate people who state the obvious? I have an aunt like that. She'll say "oh you lost weight," and then silence... so is that good or bad? Or "oh I see cut your hair," then silence... again is that good or bad?

Well, I've been pretty sick this year. All of 2008 was a bad year for my health. I just kept getting cold after cold, and then it would turn into something terrible, like bronchitis or pneumonia. But what can you do, sometimes you just have years like that... life goes on.

Now yes, part of the problem is me. I don't eat well, my sleeping habits suck and the list goes on. But do I really need to be told "you look terrible" or "you seem to catch everything this year." No! Hello... it's me I think I'm aware thank you very much!!!

Now if it's out of concern, fine, talk to me about it but if it's just a stupid ass comment, keep it to yourself. I'd much rather her say or anyone for that matter "oh you cut your hair, I liked it better the other way." Then it's out there, and I don't have to guess what the heck was encoded within the cryptic comment.
